There is a mainline railway station, just South of the town, coming from London
and Cardiff via Newport, and the North via Hereford. It's a ten minute walk.

South of the town, the A4042 from Cardiff meets the A465 from the North and the A40 from the West. Coming into Abergavenny the main road turns right in front of the Angel. But you turn left by the side of the Hotel. At the top of the narrow lane go right and the car park entrance is immediately on the right. See a detailed map.

Our car park is at the rear of the hotel.

The A40 is our main approach road. Motorway standard, it links with the North-South dual-carriageway, 10 miles East. from the Midlands via Ross-on-Wye on the M50, or from London and the East, via the Severn bridges, on the M4 (junction 24).

It is a one hour drive from Cardiff and Bristol airports, 90mins. from Birmingham airport,
and 2 hrs. 20mins. from Heathrow.
